Mosk-Mosque - 2000

Ronald Mufugu, the “king” of Cape Town’s biggest townships, is set on getting his revenge against the rich white kids whose false accusations put him in jail on Robben Island, one of the most notorious prisons in the world. When he accidentally stumbles on Operation Sweep, one of the crazier developments of the apartheid regime, intent on wiping out millions of blacks, he sees an opportunity. Superintendent Peter Declerq of the South African Police, the ambitious investigative journalist Marleen Truyens and Samantha Duchène, Peter’s Belgian colleague who is on holiday in South Africa, find themselves caught up in a spiral of violence and revenge.
