A terrorist splinter group of the Algerian GIA kidnaps Prince Frederic, the black sheep of the royal family, in retaliation for the imprisonment of a number of GIA operatives by the Belgian authorities. Inspector Sammy Duchène, hard at work tracking down a serial killer who has been murdering powerful members of the Belgian elite, already has enough on her plate. Fortunately she can call on the assistance of her friend Peter Declerq, especially when they’re confronted with a djin, Allah’s avenging angel.
